Dr. Anna Montesa, President of Montesa Medical Group, joined fellow members of the Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation, Inc. (PADSFI) in a series of medical missions and community outreach initiatives across the country in recent months, reaffirming her commitment to bringing specialized care to their community. 

As one of PADSFI's active members, Dr. Anna participated in outreach missions in Aklan, Quezon, Batangas, and Bulacan, where volunteer dermatologic surgeons, physicians, residents, nurses, and healthcare professionals worked together to provide free consultations, dermatologic procedures, minor surgeries, health education, and other essential medical services.

Among the recent initiatives was a medical mission held on July 19, 2026, at Ciriaco S. Tirol Hospital in Balabag, Malay, Aklan, where PADSFI volunteers provided medical and surgical services to members of the community.

Earlier in the year, on March 29, 2026, PADSFI conducted a medical mission at the Tiaong Multi-Purpose Building in Tiaong, Quezon, providing free consultations and medical services to local residents.

PADSFI's community outreach efforts also included Fiesta Adventure Park in Lipa City, Batangas, on December 15, 2025, and St. John the Baptist Catholic School in Poblacion, Calumpit, Bulacan, on September 28, 2025. The Calumpit activity was conducted through PADSFI Operation T.E.A.M. (Teach, Educate and Aide through Medical Mission) and served  more than 250 patients, including outpatient consultations, surgical procedures, circumcisions, and cautery procedures.

For Dr. Anna, participation in these missions reflects a professional commitment that extends beyond the walls of the clinic. Alongside fellow PADSFI volunteers, she contributes to advancing the foundation’s community mission of providing safe, accessible healthcare available to underserved communities with limited access to medical services. Beyond the direct delivery of healthcare, the medical missions also foster collaboration among specialists, provide valuable learning opportunities for young physicians, and strengthen the spirit of volunteerism that has long defined PADSFI.
