What is Compounded Semaglutide?
Compounding refers to the process of to tailor medications for varying needs. Compounded Semaglutide uses the same active ingredient in Ozempic® and Wegovy® and can be personalized for lower dosages which are more suitable for Filipino tolerance.
Where is Compounded Semaglutide made?
Our Compounded Semaglutide is manufactured with a licensed compounding pharmacies in the Philippines to ensure quality and safety. A licensed compounding pharmacy must comply with government regulations, which include administrative requirements and quality standards.
How do these weight loss medications work?
Compounded Semaglutide uses the same active ingredient as in Ozempic® and Wegovy®. It consists of GLP-1 agonists, a type of medication that primarily aids in managing blood glucose levels and regulating appetite. By making you feel fuller, the treatment may lead to reduced calories intake and losing weight.
How effective is Compounded Semaglutide?
In clinical studies, Semaglutide is shown to help patients lose an average of 20% weight*.
*In a 68- and 72-week clinical trial studying Semaglutide in patients without diabetes and with BMI ≥30, or BMI ≥27 with a weight-related condition, the average weight loss was 15% and 20%, when paired with diet and exercise changes (compared to 2.4% and 3.1%, respectively, with diet and exercise alone).
What is the difference between Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Saxenda® and Compounded Semaglutide?
These medications use the same active ingredient and work by regulating appetite and blood glucose levels. Saxenda® is taken once daily whilst Compounded Semaglutide, Ozempic® and Wegovy® is to be taken weekly. Cost and key active may vary by medication. What are the possible side effects of weight loss medications?
General side effects for these medications include gastrointestinal issues like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain. However, the side effects vary as per each medication. More serious side effects may occur and should be discussed with a healthcare provider.
Should there be any changes in diet or physical activity while taking these medications?
As per doctor’s instructions, individuals are advised to accompany treatment with a low calorie diet and increase physical activity when prescribed these medications.
What can I expect?
Some people starting losing weight in the first 2-4 weeks after starting treatment. It may take up to 8 weeks to see significant weight loss. In clinical studies, the average weight loss was 15% and 20% with 77% of patients seeing sustained results for 2 years*

How do I administer Compounded Semaglutide?
You will receive training during consultation with our Doctor to ensure you can safely prepare your dose for self-administration.
Administer once weekly at any time of day with or without food. Inject subcutaneously in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Dilute the powder in vial with safe water provided for injections. To prepare each dose, clean the top of the vial with an alcohol wipe and draw the appropriate dosage of medication as instructed by our Doctor into the syringe with needles provided. Detailed steps will also be shared by our customer service team.
For new users, the recommended starting dosage of this medication is 0.25 mg once weekly for at least 4 weeks. The dosage will increase to 0.5mg for the next 2 weeks. Returning users on a maintenance dose will use a 1mg dose per week.
